We present you a recipe for an unusual puff salad "Thumbelina". Its ingredients are perfectly combined with each other and perfectly complement each other. In addition, this appetizer is bright and beautiful, so you can safely put it on the festive table.

Salad "Thumbelina"

Thumbelina salad consists of simple ingredients and if you prepare them in advance, the cooking process will not take you more than 20-25 minutes.

Ingredients

Carrots - 120 g
Beets - 140 g
Hard cheese - 140 g
Garlic - 1 tooth.
Raisins - 50 g
Walnuts - 50 g
Lettuce leaves - 3 pcs.
Salt - to taste
Black pepper (ground) - to taste
Mayonnaise - 140 g
 Cooking
  1. Peel the carrots and grate on a fine grater. Then transfer it to a bowl, add the washed raisins, salt, pepper and a spoonful of mayonnaise. Mix everything well.
  2. Boil the beets until tender. Then cool, peel and grate on a fine grater. Add chopped walnuts, salt, pepper and mayonnaise to it. And mix thoroughly.
  3. Grate hard cheese. Squeeze peeled garlic into it through a press and add mayonnaise. And then mix well.
  4. Cut lettuce leaves into thin strips.
  5. Start layering the lettuce. The first is carrots with raisins. The second is boiled beets with walnuts. The third is hard cheese with garlic. The fourth is chopped lettuce leaves.
