OUR BODY KNOWS WHEN DEATH IS NEAR: IT'S ALL ABOUT THE SMELL

The human body is a complex system that is difficult to understand. Scientists are still working on figuring out how and why things work the way they do. We still do not quite understand where feelings and emotions come from. Another thing that still remains a mystery is the moment before death.

Doctors said that many patients know that they die before the doctor. Their vital functions may even improve, but patients already feel that the end is near.

People who have a sixth sense often say goodbye to loved ones before they leave. A strange thing they feel when it's time to leave. These people begin to forgive their enemies and mend relationships so they can walk away with no unfinished business.

It's not very common, but many say they feel death is near. It's a little scary, but at the same time it's good, because then we have the opportunity to say goodbye to loved ones.

Some people might argue that there is no such thing as knowing the time of death, and cases where people start saying goodbye before death is just a coincidence. The study was conducted at the School of Psychology at the University of Kent, which explored the possibility that people detect their death through smell.

Arno Wismann, who led this study, analyzed the body during the dying process. It turns out that when a person dies, their body breaks down and a lot of flavors are released during this process. One flavor is putrescine, which is the result of a decomposition process. People don't consciously know the smell or notice it, but subconsciously the mind recognizes the smell and knows that the end is near.

Arno Wismann made various experiments using putrescine, ammonia and water. Participants were exposed to various odors and their reactions were then examined. Participants associated putrescine with negative emotions, although none were familiar with the smell. But no participant linked the putrescine smell to death or fear. This is because our conscious mind does not see the connection, but the subconscious mind does.

There have been studies that show a connection between emotions and smell. For example, certain smells can make us feel scared or tense.

So when someone you really care about is in the hospital or just sick and wants to see you, be sure to make time for it. Maybe they know the end is near and they just want to say the last words to you. If you miss this opportunity, you will regret it for the rest of your life.
