What would you do in this situation?
I was in the store, and at the checkout in front of me was a mother and daughter. Mom had a beer in the basket. The girl asked her mother for a kinder, to which she replied:
- Do we have enough money? Stay silent.
The girl, with tears in her eyes, followed her mother, and I felt such injustice towards the child, you see, there is money for beer, but there is no money for kinder for the child. I bought a Kinder, caught up with them and gave it to her. It was so sweet, her eyes lit up so much and she said:
- Thank you, aunt.
Mom looked at me with such an unhappy face. How annoying are such mothers to whom booze is more important than children. This is a trifle, but the joy of the baby cheered me up for the whole day.
