In St. Petersburg now dank and cloudy autumn. Everyone around is sneezing and coughing.
And there are long queues in pharmacies. In principle, the situation is normal. As the cold comes, so the people massively begin to get sick.
I don't want to brag, but I rarely get sick. Very rarely. Once a year there may be a slight cough and runny nose and that's it.
Although this was not always the case.
I will tell you what helps me maintain and strengthen the immune system:
To some, this may seem banal and simple. But, all together gives amazing results.
Many simply know everything, but do not do it. And it is very important to do it, every day, day after day.
Such good habits form a strong and healthy immune system!
1. In my diet every day the presence of fruits, vegetables and herbs. These are mandatory conditions.
2. Five times a week I try to make time for physical activity. Minimum 40 minutes per day . Home workout and cardio on the machine are my favorites.
3. And also, I do not miss the opportunity to walk up to the apartment . And I go outside as much as possible. I hardly use transport.
4. I try to temper myself with a contrast shower . The main thing is not to go to extremes. I just alternate cool water with very warm. It's enough. No need to alternate ice water with boiling water)
5. always ventilate the room in the apartment. Even if it's cold outside, I always try to keep an open window in one of the rooms.
More than once faced with the fact that people completely clog the room and live in stuffiness and mustiness.
6. I walk around the house barefoot , and in general I don’t have the habit of wrapping up. I love it when it's a little chilly
7. I really like to make various immunity-strengthening teas , mixtures, pastes, infusions.
I want to share a couple of excellent health-boosting teas:
Milk tea.
Brew 2 teaspoons of green tea. Add some milk and some pepper to the tea. Also, add some butter and drink. By the way, this tea is great for sore throat and cough.
Ginger tea.
Brew green tea. Grate 1 cm of ginger or take a teaspoon of dried ginger. Mix everything and let it brew.
Lemon tea.
Also, the base is brewed green tea. Add the squeezed lemon juice to it and grate the lemon peel. Mix everything and let it brew.
exotic tea.
Here is the basis of black tea. The following spices should be added to the brewed tea: ground cloves and cardamom. Add a couple more lemon slices to this mixture. And at the very end, pour some milk!
I always drink tea and eat honey. Honey is an excellent immunostimulant. I don't add any sugar.
