It is very soft, very warm, very stylish and at the same time very simple - it's all about the Silver snood scarf.
So, for those who love to knit from merino wool, for those who love themselves, indulge in high-quality and tactilely delicate things - it is dedicated to them.
I needed 200 g of my favorite yarn Alize Baby Wool (50 g / 175 m) No. 52 light gray, knitting needles No. 4, a needle for sewing knitwear, scissors.
The width of my scarf-snood is 25 cm, length 130 cm, closed in a ring. I deliberately included openwork “leaky” stripes in the knitting so that when you put on a scarf in two turns, there would be an outlet, there would be ventilation and air would circulate so that there would be no greenhouse effect.
The knitting pattern is very simple - at the edges of a garter stitch of 3 loops, three braids of six loops, between the braids one purl loop and openwork strips of four loops. Total = 3+3+6+6+6+2+2+2+4+4+4+4=46 stitches.
We collect the required number of loops, we knit. Oh yes, I forgot to say - knitting in two threads, braids overlap (in my case) every 8 loops.
We continue knitting to the required length, sew the end and the beginning of knitting, and, as always, WTO (wet-heat treatment), dry horizontally.
Are we happy with the result?
