Fitness blogger Kelsey Wells showed the results of training and proper nutrition to prove that weight is not a true reflection of effort.
She once posted three photos on Instagram showing her progress. On each picture, she signed how much she weighed at the time of shooting. At the beginning of the journey, her weight was 145 pounds or 65.8 kg, in the middle - 122 pounds or 55.3 kg, and now - 140 pounds or 63.6 kg. At the same time, in the last two photos, she looks more slender, and in the last one, she looks more athletic and fit.
“Please stop thinking that your weight is the equivalent of your success. It shouldn't affect your self-esteem," Wells captioned the photo.
“Now I weigh 63.6 kg with a height of 174 cm. When I began my journey of improving my figure, I weighed 65.8 kg, this was eight weeks after giving birth. Before pregnancy, I weighed 59 kg, and because of my misperception of myself, I set myself a goal of 55 kg. After a few months of the program and breastfeeding, I was able to fit into US size zero jeans. And then I gained 8 kg. And, thank God, I realized that my progress is not reflected in weight, but in something else - in strength, endurance, agility, health and happiness, the blogger continued. “I have never had more muscle and less fat than I do now. I have not been healthier than I am now. I have never been more comfortable in my body than now."
Kelsey urged everyone to evaluate their results not by the scales, but by the reflection in the mirror and their own feelings.
