This remedy helps me without fail in those periods when blood pressure rises.
I boil 1 liter of water, after putting 0.5 kg of sugar in it, then, together with the husk, cut 5 large blue onions so that each is cut into quarters, dip them into the resulting syrup and simmer for 20 minutes on a quiet fire.
I let it brew for 10 hours and filter through gauze folded in several layers. I take 3 times a day for 1 tbsp. 20 minutes before a meal.
The course of treatment is 10 days, then a short break and another course. Two courses are enough for me for at least 1 year.

In addition, they contain salts of calcium, copper, iron and phosphorus, which are very useful for the human body. So, for example, iron salts (their content is especially high in onion-slizun) help improve blood composition, and calcium salts strengthen bone tissue.
Medicinal properties of onion
The healing properties of onions were used by the ancient Egyptians. In Russia, onions appeared rather late, but very quickly spread among the people, as people immediately noticed what a beneficial effect this plant has on the body.
The people said: "He who eats onions will get rid of torment." Not a single folk healer bypasses the onion, as it is a medicine for a very large number of diseases, as they say: "Onion - from seven ailments."
This plant is now widely used in medicine: for intestinal atony, colitis, hypertension, hypo- and beriberi, rhinitis, influenza, furunculosis, pinworms, etc.
Onions contain a lot of vitamins, so it is simply indispensable in winter and early spring, when the flu begins to rage.
