How to grow kombucha
YOU WILL NEED
a three-liter jar of
gauze
5 tbsp.
l. black tea half a liter of boiling water
7 tbsp.
l. sugar GROWING
Thoroughly rinse the jar in which the fungus will live.
Pour boiling water over the tea, then wait for the tea leaves to cool.
Add sugar and strain the tea through cheesecloth. Pour the liquid into a jar, cover with gauze and leave for a month and a half.
After a week and a half, the smell of vinegar may appear.
Then it will disappear, and a thin film will appear on the surface - Kombucha. The mushroom sometimes needs to be taken out of the jar and washed in warm water. Also, do not forget to replenish the supply of tea. The fungus reproduces by detaching the bottom layer and grows constantly.
