Good cooks know that the combination of meat with fruit is very tasty and fragrant. Unfortunately, in our area, few dare to combine these products in one dish - but in vain!
Cherry juice gives beef extraordinary tenderness and piquant sourness. This is a dish that will surely delight any gourmet. Try it!
You will need:
- beef - 500 g;
- pitted cherries - 300 g;
- soy sauce - 2 tbsp. l.;
- sugar - 1 pinch;
- garlic - 2-3 cloves;
- rosemary - 2 sprigs;
- hot pepper - 1 pc.;
- salt - to taste;
- vegetable oil for frying.
1. Rinse the beef in cold water, pat dry with paper towels and cut into medium cubes.
2. Put the prepared pieces of meat on a hot frying pan with vegetable oil. Fry the beef, stirring occasionally, until golden brown. Then reduce the heat, add some water and simmer for 30 minutes.
3. While the beef is stewing, prepare the cherry sauce. Pepper and deseed and cut lengthwise.
4. Cut the pepper into half rings.
5. Fry the pepper pieces in a little oil.
6. Add a whole cherry with juice to the pepper and fry together.
7. Add salt and sugar. Mix and simmer for 5 minutes.
8. Chop the garlic. Add garlic, soy sauce and rosemary to the skillet to the cherry, simmer a little.
9. Transfer the cherry to the meat and simmer for 10 minutes.
