Lucky are those who sew not like a professional, but love to do it. Now such types of outerwear are very popular, which even a modest lover, even a beginner in sewing, can sew. Oversized coats, quilted jackets, ponchos, capes... They are not as difficult to sew as classic coats, they do not need to be customized. And you can also choose a fabric that will hide the flaws of an inexperienced seamstress: faux fur, for example, is now no less relevant than natural. High-quality artificial fur can no longer be distinguished from natural.
So, if you really want to create something like this for yourself in the fall, but you don’t have the courage, we offer a few ideas for inspiration. Some of these models can be sewn literally in the evening!
First, my favorite is the square coat, aka the blanket jacket.
Pattern of a jacket from a square
Cape on the simplest pattern:
If you sew such a poncho out of fur, you get a fur coat
What could be simpler than a kimono coat, which can be sewn from a warm tippet or a wide scarf
This pattern is more complicated, but you can figure it out: on the other hand, you get an original and very pretty coat with a lowered sleeve.
These capes are quite suitable for warm autumn, the main thing is to choose a dense fabric.
An interesting cape idea, you can try to make it from a scarf
Already a classic: Vest - cape from the circle.
I really liked the idea of a coat, especially the ruffles on the sleeves. At the same time, a simple pattern with one-piece sleeves and a stand-up collar. Shuttlecocks are obtained by inserting fabric.
The pattern is more complicated, but also a very interesting coat model
Youth version of the coat
Straight coat pattern
Cool jacket with a hood and a length difference in the front and back.
Another free-cut coat according to the simplest patterns that can be made with or without sleeves.
And finally, a pattern of warm house boots made of faux fur
The key to success is a well-chosen fabric plus a little courage, then everything will work out for sure! Good luck in needlework and creative inspiration!
