An easy way to choose the perfect haircut for your face type.

It's not easy to find your own style. Sometimes we get used to the image we see in the mirror every day and don't even realize that we can look different. A simple 2-minute procedure will let you know which haircut suits you: long or short.

The perfect way to look amazing

Gilles Robinson, director of the John Frieda chain of stores in the UK, says there is a method that helps stylists determine the length of hair that best suits a person. You will need a ruler and a pencil. Place the pencil on your chin so that it is parallel to the floor. Place the ruler vertically under your ear. Determine the point where the pencil and ruler intersect. If the distance from the earlobe to this point is less than 5.71 cm, then you will look good with short hair. If the distance is longer, then long hair is your choice.

Let's check how it works.

Katie Holmes vs. Gwyneth Paltrow

Even with perfectly styled long hair, Katy looks rather dull.

And with a short haircut, there is a special charm.

On the contrary, Gwyneth looks amazing with her wonderful long hair and not so spectacular with short hair.

Natalie Portman vs Sarah Jessica Parker

If you turn to the method, Portman looks good with short hair, while Parker looks good with long hair. Let's check it out. In fact, with short hair, Natalie looks very attractive.

With long hair, she looks beautiful but boring.

Sarah Jessica Parker didn't have very short haircuts, but a cropped haircut doesn't suit her.

Parker looks her best with long hair and her luxurious curls. This is 100% her style!

Test for yourself. Try following the method to see what hair length suits you best. You can also compare some old photos to see if the scientists are really telling the truth. It's always better to check yourself.
