You have probably seen the unremarkable, twisted ginger root in stores, but did not know what to do with it. Meanwhile, its useful and medicinal properties have been known to people since ancient times. This is a storehouse of vitamins, microelements, essential oils that have a strengthening, tonic, anti-inflammatory effect on the body.
We love ginger for a long time and offer you some effective recipes based on it to promote health and preserve beauty, which can be easily used at home.
Important!
- Do not use ginger for problems with the heart, liver, damage to the mucous membranes, bleeding, elevated body temperature, as well as in the 2nd-3rd trimesters of pregnancy.
- Ginger is good both fresh and ground, as well as its essential oil. You can add it to the first and second courses, pastries and drinks.
- Before applying ground ginger to the skin as a component of the mask, make sure that there is no allergy by conducting a sensitivity test on the crook of the elbow.
1. Fight cellulite
Cellulite Ginger Scrub helps to warm up the skin and improve blood circulation in the tissues, remove swelling and thus reduce the appearance of orange peel.
Connect 1 tbsp. l. grated ginger with 0.5 cups of ginger juice, add 1-1.5 cups of coarse sea salt. Scrub problem areas with a scrub using a washcloth or special rollers.

Melt 1-2 tbsp. l. shea butter and add 1-2 tsp. avocado oil, 3-5 drops of patchouli essential oil, 3-5 drops of ginger essential oil, 5-7 drops of lemon essential oil. Mix everything well and transfer to a clean, dry jar. Use as a mask by gently massaging your nails, or with hand cream.
Important! This mixture is very active and can cause allergies, be careful.

Due to the high content of ascorbic acid, vitamins B, A, zinc, calcium, iodine, natural antibiotics and antimycotics, ginger has a strengthening effect on the body and increases resistance to various diseases.
- Add 1 tsp to your black or green tea. grated ginger root in 250 ml of water.
- Pass through a meat grinder 2-4 whole lemons and 400 g of fresh ginger and fill them with 250 g of honey. Put the jar in a dark place for a day, and then for another 6 days in the refrigerator. Use 1 tbsp. l. in the morning on an empty stomach during cold seasons.
5. Pain relief
Ginger is great for inflammation and pain, including muscle pain after intense workouts, occasional pain in women, and arthritis. Make an infusion of equal parts ginger and turmeric, juice of two lemons, 1 tsp. honey and water.
6. Stimulating the brain
Ginger consumption slows down the aging and death of brain cells and resists neurodegenerative diseases, in particular Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases. In addition, the root improves all cognitive functions and helps memory work.
7. Fight against aging
Ginger contains a huge amount of antioxidants, accelerates the renewal processes in the body, resists free radicals, and removes toxins.
8. Help with weight loss
Ginger, due to the content of a large amount of "burning" substances, accelerates metabolism very well and reduces appetite. Add fresh and ground ginger to the first and second courses, to drinks. You can drink ginger tea half an hour before meals - so you will eat much less. And at night, drink a glass of kefir with the addition of ground ginger, cinnamon and a pinch of red pepper.

13. Normalization of blood composition
According to a study, regular consumption of ginger normalizes cholesterol and blood sugar levels and significantly reduces the risk of possible complications. In addition, ginger helps to resist the formation of blood clots and high blood pressure. Boil some ginger along with a cinnamon stick, cool and drink 2-3 times a day.
14. Accelerate hair growth, prevent hair loss and dandruff
Ginger promotes blood flow to the scalp, provides nutrients to the roots, and stimulates hair growth to prevent hair loss.
- Mask for strengthening hair . Make a mixture of equal parts of grated ginger and jojoba oil and rub it into your hair and scalp. Wash off after 30 minutes.
- Mask for hair growth. Grate a ginger root and a few cloves of garlic, cover with water and let it brew. Drain the resulting infusion, add olive (coconut) oil to it and rub it into the hair roots.
- Dandruff mask. Make a mixture of 2 parts fresh grated ginger and 3 parts olive or sesame oil, apply on the scalp and leave for 15-25 minutes. Repeat 2 times a week.
