Marilyn had a series of unhappy marriages

Arthur Miller was Marilyn Monroe's third husband. They married in 1956 and their marriage lasted five years. Arthur Miller suspected Marilyn of an affair with Inge Morath, a German photographer. So they divorced because of incompatibility.
Joe DiMaggio was the second husband. Marilyn and Joe were married in 1952 when Marilyn was 25 and Joe was 37. Joe DiMaggio was a handsome and famous baseball player. Marilyn and Joe were madly in love with each other. But things didn't go well with the duo.
Joe doubted Marilyn's love, and because of this, Marilyn lived in great tension. In October 1954, the couple filed for divorce. It was a sad phase in Marilyn's life. Despite differences, betrayals and suspicions, Marilyn loved Joe DiMaggio.
Her first marriage was at the age of 16
When Marilyn was 16, she married Jim Dougherty. It was an arranged marriage for convenience; there was not a single emotional obligation associated with this marriage.
It was June 19, 1942 when they got married and after that Jim Doherty joined the Merchant Marine while Marilyn was working in a factory. But in 1946 they filed for divorce.
After the divorce, Marilyn said that she preferred separation because there was nothing between her and Jim, as they barely communicated with each other.

1. She loved to read.
While Monroe often played the "dumb blonde" on the silver screen, she was a deeply intellectual person. An avid reader, she had hundreds of books lining the shelves of her California mansion, ranging from classics like James Joyce's Ulysses to parenting guides.
2. She was under FBI for many years.
Partly because of her political views, the FBI followed Monroe's activities for many years. Her marriage to leftist playwright Arthur Miller was also viewed as suspicious, especially given Miller's stance against Senator Joseph McCarthy, who spearheaded a series of anti-Communist "witches" in the 1950s.
3. Many still believe that she did not kill herself.
The suspicious circumstances surrounding Monroe's death led many to demand that the case be reopened. Many suspect that Monroe was murdered and that it was a conspiracy against her.
4. She was incredibly lonely.
Marilyn had relationship problems and divorced several times. Perhaps because of her own troubled childhood, Monroe desperately wanted to be a mother. She became pregnant several times, but each time it ended in a miscarriage. This drove her crazy and was heartbroken.
5. She was an excellent cook.
Perhaps Monroe would have been happier if she had been a wife and mother rather than a world famous star. She, of course, longed for the simpler things in life. More than half a century after Monroe's death, the world remains captivated by her beauty and talent.
