Hello dear readers. Today I would like to digress a little from the topic of my blog and talk about the mistakes that, in my opinion, turn a young woman into a “youthful aunt”. Naturally, I have my own idea of what looks beautiful and stylish, and what only spoils the appearance and does not look at all on women over 40.
So, I want to touch on the general selection of clothes, jewelry and hairstyles. If you disagree with something, you have your own vision of beauty, then I propose to discuss this topic in the comments.
Length of skirts and dresses
So, after 40 years, I lost weight pretty well, and if earlier I dreamed of wearing short dresses, skirts, shorts, then having acquired a slender figure, I could not afford to wear short outfits.
Now I think that the classic length of skirts and dresses, which just covers the knees, perfectly emphasizes the figure, makes it slimmer, does not visually violate proportions. Yes, and I feel comfortable and attractive with such a length:
Decorations: bright voluminous versus concise
In general, I love various jewelry, but I prefer laconic accessories.
If I wear voluminous bright jewelry, then in single copies, I complement outfits with a modest cut and colors.
I think that a lot of rings, necklaces / beads, bright earrings in one look looks tasteless. Teenagers who want to attract the attention of their peers like to put on a lot of jewelry at once. I don't have that goal.
I think that in the first photo, which I posted above, this is a bust with jewelry, in the second - a more restrained image.
Hair color
I think that natural hair color always looks beautiful, rejuvenates. It is unacceptable for me to dye my hair in bright red, lilac (I am a trichologist, women with this hair color often come to me) and other shades that bear little resemblance to the natural color.
Women with a stylish haircut or medium length hair of a natural color look attractive and youthful. Personally, I would never call them "young aunts."
