Today, the field of design has reached unprecedented heights. With a sense of taste and a sufficient amount of funds, any idea can be translated into reality. Hi-tech, minimalism, futurism, kitsch, eclecticism, loft, for which it is easy to adapt even hydraulic filters , baroque - and this is not a complete list. Nevertheless, Provence is usually chosen for kitchen design. It is associated with home warmth and comfort.
Finishing
For walls and ceilings, colored textured plaster is useful. At the same time, it should be applied unevenly, in some places opening places with brickwork. Natural wood, painted white, is also suitable.
It is better to put an untreated board or brick-colored ceramic tiles on the floor.
Lighting
Provence suggests an abundance of natural light. Its deficiency can be easily made up for by spotlights, a forged chandelier. Also suitable are sconces, lamps with simple, filter-like lampshades for special equipment , and even candelabra. With a combination of different sources, the desired effect of soft diffused light will be obtained.
Furniture
All structures must be made from natural materials: varnished wood, rattan, glass with artistic forging elements. As far as architecture is concerned, smooth, gracefully curved forms should be followed.
In the upholstery, faded floral patterns with bright accents, a cage, a strip are welcome. The general palette consists of pastels.
Decorations
Hand-painted plates, porcelain vases, wicker baskets with fragrant lavender bouquets, colorful figurines in the form of birds will perfectly fit into the rustic interior. You can hang a still life and an oil painting on the wall.
