Named a drink that improves brain health...

Regular consumption of tea has a positive effect on the efficiency of brain connections.

This conclusion was made by scientists from the National University of Singapore, and the results of the work were published in the journal Aging.

Scientists have found out how tea affects brain function by conducting experiments on 36 elderly people over the age of 60. The researchers divided the participants into two groups: those who drink tea frequently and those who don't drink it or drink it less frequently.

The first group included those who drink the drink at least four times a week. As it turned out, their brain function was more active than that of the second category of subjects.

Moreover, the first group showed a decrease in hemispheric asymmetry, which also indicates the benefits of drinking tea.
