These potato rolls are somewhat reminiscent of chips in taste: the same appetizing, fragrant, with a ruddy crispy crust. Bagels are fried in a large amount of well-heated vegetable oil. If this cooking method does not suit you for any reason, you can bake the products in the oven at a high temperature.

The dish belongs to the category of low-cost, because in its preparation you can use the remaining boiled potatoes and any cheese, even processed. From a minimum of products, a wonderful snack for evening gatherings is obtained.

Ingredients

Potato - 200 g
Wheat flour - 100 g
Salt - to taste
Hard cheese - 6 tbsp. l.
Sunflower oil - 150 ml

Cooking

  1. Boil potatoes until tender, mash and refrigerate.
  2. Add half of the grated hard cheese (preferably low fat), salt and flour, knead a stiff dough.
  3. Roll out the dough in the form of a circle 0.5 cm thick, cut into equal sectors.
  4. On the wide edge of each sector, lay out a part of the rest of the cheese and twist the bagels.
  5. Heat the oil in a deep saucepan or frying pan and fry the bagels in it until golden brown.
  6. Put the finished products on a napkin to remove excess fat.
Potato bagels are an interesting and very tasty snack . You can stuff them not only with cheese, but also with a boiled egg, ham or smoked brisket. Serve yummy with tomato sauce and enjoy compliments on your culinary skills.
