We measure the surface and cut out pieces of the desired size from the wallpaper. We glue them to the surface of the cabinet with PVA glue or wallpaper glue, carefully smoothing and expelling the air. It is better to use wallpaper glue, because. it gives you more time to correct and process folds.
Paper wallpapers must be varnished to protect them from dirt and damage. A protective film must first be applied to the pasted wallpaper, otherwise the varnish may corrode the paper. For protection, use a conventional PVA-based primer or the remaining wallpaper paste.
Protection is applied to the dried wallpaper with a thin layer. When the protective film dries, you can cover the surface of the wallpaper with a water-based varnish. To make sure that nothing will happen to the wallpaper after varnishing, first try the process on a small piece, and then, making sure that everything is fine, proceed to the rest of the wallpaper. When choosing wallpaper for decor, it is worth considering that varnishing makes the wallpaper a few tones darker.
If you work with vinyl wallpaper on a dense base, you don’t have to worry about pollution: such wallpapers can be easily wet cleaned. Alternatively, you can use self-adhesive wallpaper. You can decorate not only external, but also internal surfaces. This technique enlivens the space, and you - the joy of a new thing made by yourself.
Such furniture will look advantageous if the color of the wallpaper echoes with a shade of curtains or decor in the room. Or vice versa, among objects of discreet colors it will become a bright accent. If you want to add brightness, you should paste over the sections of the cabinet or shelving with pieces of different wallpaper.

At the same time, the end of the lower one should be directed downward, being a completed “step”, and the upper one should look up, opening outward. Using a hole punch, an awl or a thin drill, we make a hole in the middle part of the folded canvas into which we insert the cord. We straighten the blinds, fix the cord in the upper part with a knot. On the upper fold of the blinds we glue double-sided tape, which we attach to the window. Glue the bottom five folds in the middle and secure with tape. The result is a semicircle "peacock's tail".
We put a latch on the cord, with the help of which the blinds are raised up and lowered. The end of a cord or rope can be decorated with a decorative large bead. You can also make them on two parallel cords, just like real blinds. The order of their manufacture is similar. Only in this case you will need a retainer for two holes, which are made at a distance of 10-14 cm from the edge on each side.

We take the frame from the lampshade. We cut out the paper so that there is a margin of about 2 cm above and below. Lubricate the paper with wallpaper glue and stick it on the lampshade. We cut the "reserve" in several places (so that there are no wrinkled areas) and carefully glue it inside the floor lamp. It turned out to be an almost new floor lamp. Now, based on our taste and interior, we decorate the lampshade with ribbons, braid, and whatever else we want. The leg of the floor lamp can also be wrapped with some ribbons or a beautiful cord.
BOXES.
To store seasonal shoes, clothes, many people use all sorts of boxes. These boxes can also be wallpapered. In order for them to fit well in the shape of the box, the wallpaper must be strongly moistened with glue, so it is easier to bend, drape, and give the desired shape.
In such boxes it is very convenient to store all sorts of necessary and unnecessary little things. From the remnants of wallpaper, you can make postcards, gift wraps and bags and much more.
FLOWER POTS, VASES, CANS.
Usually flower pots are made of plastic or clay and are painted dull brown or white. And beautiful products cost a lot of money. A bright and colorful flower pot can be made by yourself, besides, it can be a good gift with a unique design for a colleague, friend or neighbors.
To decorate flower pots, it is better to take small pieces of thin wallpaper, then it will be easier for them to lie on the surface and not create wrinkles. For better fixing, we apply glue again from above. When the glue dries, apply a layer of varnish. The upper side of the pot can not be pasted over with wallpaper, I can paint it with acrylic paint. Textured wallpapers are suitable for flower pots or simple vases. And vinyl wallpaper on a dense basis does not need to be varnished.
In the same way, we decorate smooth tin cans in which various little things are stored. The rest of the wallpaper can also be used to decorate various details: doors, book covers, wall clocks, and that's not all.
FRAMEWORK.
When decorating walls with wallpaper, you can move away from conventions and not glue them, but hang them. For example, in photo frames - you can get a good collage and a great alternative to an accent wall. Buy several photo frames of different sizes, but identical in design, and insert fragments of wallpaper left after repair into them. Stylish decor for the interior is ready.
Hoops can be used as frames. Such an unusual approach will bring zest to the interior, and round shapes will add softness. The plain surface of the wall can be decorated with whole pictures of wallpaper. Pieces of wallpaper are glued onto cardboard and inserted into the frame. Or, on the contrary, you can cut frames out of cardboard and paste over them with wallpaper.
Create a composition with frames of different sizes, also experiment with colors or wallpaper patterns. The same wallpaper in the same frames, located at a short distance from each other, will look stylish.
PANEL.
From the remnants of wallpaper, you can make a panel. For a three-dimensional panel, it is necessary to have some kind of panel or slab made of chipboard, thin plywood or cardboard. Mirrors, wall lamps, small framed paintings, wall clocks and other wall decor are hung inside the wallpaper panels. This design of the walls with the filling of the panels is typical for interiors in a classic style. For an interior in a modern style, you can choose a different frame material: use metal or plastic trims.
HEADBOARD.
A bed with a high headboard is an essential element of a bedroom in a classic and English style.
