Turkish pie dough is also suitable for pizzas, buns, rolls and other delicious pastries.
If you only knew how fragrant it is. Turkish pastries are famous for their smells, wonderful aroma and taste. It is quite easy to prepare it. Ingredients:
- Wheat flour - six cups
- mineral water with gas - one glass
- milk - one glass
- dry instant yeast - seven grams (one standard sachet)
- sugar - two tablespoons.
- vegetable oil - one glass
- salt - one tablespoon
Preparing Turkish Pie Dough
- Be sure to sift the flour. Pour instant yeast into it and mix thoroughly.
- Warm milk slightly. Prepare a large bowl and pour vegetable oil, mineral water and milk into it. Add sugar and salt. Add flour with yeast and knead the dough.
- Cover the dough with cling film or a damp towel and place in a warm place to rise for an hour and a half.
- When the specified time has passed and the dough has risen, it must be kneaded well again, covered again and left in a warm place for another hour.
- This completes the Turkish pie dough. It can be used immediately, as is customary with us, or you can put it in a bag and put it in the refrigerator, where it can stand for up to three days without losing its freshness.
